Cant... reach...notes!!!! help! flight of the bumblebee note trouble....?

im learning the original flight of the bumblebee on piano...and its pretty easy for me, i just have one problem.... i have slightly smaller hands than Rimsky-Korskov (or however u spell it) must have had because i CAN reach the 10th note... but im having trouble playing it reallllly fast and switching back and forth with it...could i just change the note and make it sound pretty close to the original note but it will be easier to reach for me? idk what did those little 6 year old piano prodigies do? rofl....
