How to play trills on piano?

Simply put, trills is just rapidly playing two different notes. Normally, a trill is executed by placing your index finger (2) on one key and your middle finger (3) on the next key. Then, quickly press each finger after the other. This can be hard at times, as some pieces may require that you perform this for extended periods of time.
